Harold was here!

All of the school had a turn at going to the Life Education truck in the first 2 weeks of the term.  Harold is a giraffe and he is the mascot for the Life Ed programme.  Room 10 had a great topic called 'Space Invaders'.  What do you think that would be about?
'Space Invaders' was about how our body eats and uses food for energy.  It made us think about what we eat and if it helps us to be strong and healthy and smart.  We looked at our lunches boxes and talked out the food we eat.  We made a food pyramid to help us think and labelled as much food as we could in Te Reo.  It was a real challenge but we are pleased with the learning we did.
